Age/Grade

1. How old do I have to be to attend The Center@ 862?

   Middle School and High School students (Grade 6-12) are allowed to attend The Center during our open lounge hours. 

   We ensure that your child will be safe while in The Center or attend one of our events.

   Parents PLEASE be aware that we have an OPEN DOOR policy. Students are allowed to come and go as they please. Please talk with your child before dropping them off. 

   Middle School Lounge Hours

   Monday - Thursday 2 - 6  pm

   Friday & Saturday 2 - 6pm

   High School Lounge Hours

   Monday - Thusday 2  - 6pm 

   Friday & Saturday 2-11pm

   All other students (8th-12th grade) who are not a resident of Scarsdale or attend either Scarsdale Middle School or Scarsdale High School are welcomed to attend STC but have to pay a fee of $3.00 each day. This fee will allow them entrance to the Teen Center for the entire day.

   
   

2. I just graduated high school can I still attend The Center @ 862?

   Senior high school students may attend The until September 15 following their high school graduation or as a guest during specific events only. 
   

Employment/ Internship

1. Can I work for The Center 862?

   We are currently looking for High School Promoters.

   Promoters create the event that you want to host. Call, email or stop by to discuss with staff members what you would like to host. We hold the date for you can you promote the event to your friends. 

   We charge $10 at the door and at the end of the night we split all door sales with the promoter in cash. 

   Internships - We are always looking for college students who are interested in event planning, non-profits and or marketing. Please call 914-722-8358 or email Info@Scarsdaleteencenter.com for more information. 

   Highschool student’s interested in fulfilling their Senior Options requirements are encouraged to apply for an internship with STC.

Rental

1. How do I schedule a rental?

    

   In order to schedule a rental please read the Rental Contract first in its entirety. When you have decided that the Teen Center is the best place for your rental, print and fill out the Rental Contract, then mail or hand deliver the Contract with a desposit check and a rental check. Rental amounts are based upon the rental type.

Workshops

1. How do I register for a workshop?

   You can register for a workshop two ways:

   
   

    

   • Click the Programs tab and then click the workshop you wish to register for. Each workshop has a Registration form link, print and fill out the form. Mail or hand deliver the form and check (if the workshop requires a fee) please do not mail cash.
   • You can stop by STC and fill out a Registration Form for the workshop you desire. Please bring a check or cash if the workshop requires a fee.
